UYUNI SALT FLATS – THREE DAYS TWO NIGHTS TOUR + SUNSET (UYUNI TO SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA CHILE) or COMEBACK TO UYUNI

RAIN SEASON IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SEE THE INCAHUASI ISLAND, AND NOT POSSIBLE TO STAY IN A SALT HOTEL

DAY 1
Departure time at 10:30 am
We meet at SALTY DESERT office and we leave In a Toyota land cruiser or Nissan Patrol 4×4 WD. We will go to visit the Train Cemetery where you can see the old rusting locomotives. After this we continue to Colchani Village and witness how the salt is processed and the salt refinery where you will witness the iodization of salt for national consumption, taken to the great Uyuni Salt Flats or SALAR DE UYUNI, where you will see the salt mining and the piles of salt (the smalls pyramids of salt) after this we go to see the Salt Flats Ayes where there are big holes in the salt flat where the water from underneath of this lake still comes out by high pressure, then arrival to the original Playa Blanca salt hotel but now is operating like a Museum where you can see salt sculptures (we have lunch) after we go to take the amazing photos at the middle Salt Flats (funny, crazy photos) and we continue to the Salt Flats border where we will wait for the SUNSET , in water place.
After that we comeback to Uyuni City where wee stay the first night in a hostel with private room shared bathrrom for 2 or 3 people in each room . (we have dinner)

DAY 2
At 07.00 (right after breakfast) we will go to see the Condor rock. Afterwards we will see some small lakes with different colors where we can observe flamingos like laguna Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkota. Where you can see many flamingos (Lunch time) After lunch we will drive through the Siloli desert where we will find the tree made out of stone (Arbol de Piedra). Next stop is the spectacular Laguna Colorada (red colored lake) where we can observe 3 different species of flamingos. After visiting Laguna Colorada we will continue our journey to Huayllaja Village where we will spend the night in a HOSTEL with shared room, shared bathroom, arriving at 05.30 pm. (we have dinner)

DAY 3

Breakfast
We start the tour at 05:30 am.
we will visit the Geysers the volcanic activity zone (Sol de Mañana) high place, at 4850 meters, the geyser basin with bubbling mud holes, hellish fumaroles and a thick aroma of Sulphur fumes. Inside a small crater we shall observe boiling lava, reminding us of the age in which the earth was formed, arriving to Polques Village where You have Hot springs and take a thermal bath (the temperature of the water is approx. 37 degrees Celsius). After we will visit the Salvador Dali Desert where we can enjoy the view of surreal landscapes. From there, we will go to The Laguna Verde, Licancabur Volcano after that We are really close to the Chilean border now. People travelling onwards to San Pedro de Atacama (Chile) will take transport from here to San Pedro (around 09.30 AM but subject to change) by either public bus. The public bus will arrive in San Pedro around 12.00 / 12.30

after Green lagoon we comeback to Uyuni arriving at 6 p.m
